What is your customer retention rate? 95%

Do you carry insurance and workers' compensation? Yes

Are you a member of any Chambers of Commerce?
Yes. St. Clairsville and Bridgeport Chambers of Commerce (Ohio); City of Wheeling Chamber of Commerce (West Virginia); Westmoreland County and Washington County Chambers of Commerce (Pennsylvania).

LAWN CARE AND LANDSCAPING
Would there be any reason that our lawn will go unserviced?
Not unless inclement weather occurs for consecutive days.

How will I be billed?
Billing is performed bi-weekly or monthly by request. There is no exchange of money or payment with any of our lawn crews.

Does PMSI trim hedges, shrubbery and trees?
Yes. We provide these services with our own crews as well as a qualified partner that provides tree-trimming services.

Do you have personnel to pull weeds? Yes.

Do you provide brush hogging in fields and power transmission sites? Yes.

Do you provide lawn treatments and vegetation control?
Yes. We work closely with a licensed partner to provide both.

Do you clean up the lawn clippings on walkways and/or pavement after service is completed?
Yes, all clippings are blown free from these areas upon completion of work.

Do you provide mulching services for landscape beds? Yes.

Are your employees licensed?
All employees are licensed, trained, uniformed and drug tested before employment.

What type of mowing equipment do you have?
We have a variety of equipment to address your property’s requirements.

What is your scope of service?
We currently service in excess of 300 commercial and residential customers.

SWEEPING
What is the size of your sweeping fleet and what types of sweepers do you run?
Currently we have 10 sweepers, 4 of which are Tympco 210 Regenerative Air Sweepers and 6 Athey Mobile Broom Sweepers.

Do you provide handwork to clear debris from walkways, corners, etc.?

Yes, all of our equipment and crews are supplied with backpack blowers, brooms and shovels.

If we have a budget allotment, can you take the budget number and design a program that fits?
Yes, there are a number of scenarios and programs that can work within everyone’s budget and be tailored to your needs.

What are your qualifications?
We are a member of NAPSA (North American Power Sweeping Association) and have nearly 20 years’ experience in this field. We are currently servicing several commercial, retail, industrial sites, and municipalities. Our sweepers meet all EPA requirements.

SNOW REMOVAL
What is the size of your fleet?
Our fleet is currently comprised of 9 snow pushers, 13 trucks, 10 salt spreaders as well as sidewalk crews.

What happens in the event of a breakdown?
We are confident our fleet size is sufficient enough that we can reroute our equipment to satisfy our customers’ needs during snow events if any of our equipment experiences a breakdown.

Do you provide sidewalk services? Yes.

How do you bid your services?
Facilities can  be bid on per-push, per-salting basis, by an hourly rate per equipment type used and per-ton of salt spread, or quoted on a seasonal flat-rate basis.

How could salt or de-icing material shortages affect PMSI?
They will not because we have arrangements with our vendors that guarantee a continued supply. We also purchase under seasonal, guaranteed supply commitments from our suppliers.

What type of materials is used to de-ice concrete walkways? Calcium chloride.

If damages were incurred due to the service provided, will they be resolved at the contractor's expense?
All properties are viewed with property manager prior to the first snow event and reviewed at the season’s end. Any damages due to snow removal will be at the expense of the contractor. This excludes any damages resulting from the spreading of salt.

What are your qualifications?
We are a member of SIMA (Snow and Ice Management Association) and have over 13 years of experience in this field. We are currently maintaining several large facilities throughout the tri-state area for plowing and salting application.

POWER WASHING
Are your detergents harmful to vegetation?
No, all of our detergents are bio-degradable and will not harm living vegetation.

Does PMSI provide truck fleet washing? No.

What kind of power washing services do you offer?
We wash heavy equipment, drive-thrus, dumpster areas, sidewalks and decks.

Do you have a water recovery system? Only when required.

Are you capable of dealing with mold and mildew issues? Yes.

Do you seal decks?
We do offer sealing services upon completion of our cleaning.

Is your power washer a cold or hot water machine?
It can function either way.

LINE STRIPING
What is PMSI’s experience in this field?
Our crew leader who is in charge of this division was previously employed as a Regional Manager of a national line striping company and has over 20 years of experience in this field.

What is the size of this division in your company?
We currently have two crews, both of which are equipped with Graco Line Lazers/Riders.

Is PMSI limited to re-striping or are you capable of new layouts?
We are capable of new layouts but are currently not capable of in house design work.

What type of paint do you use?
Sherwin Williams oil, acetone and water-based line striping paints.
