Management & Staff
George Kryston, President
While working in operations in the coal mining industry, George Kryston saw a need for commercial and industrial sweeping services. His skepticism the area needed quality sweeping services were confirmed after surveying the market and having discussions with several potential customers. That led George to purchase his first sweeper and begin operations with only eight customers.
The early years of PMSI saw George working countless hours, providing quality sweeping services to the company's client base.
George also is active with the Ohio University MBA program as both a presenter and speaker. He also invited a team of MBA students to develop a business plan for PMSI growth, which was the top award winner in the 2004 competition and has led to the company’s expansion into the Western Pennsylvania market.
George is a member of a number of industry trade associations including the North America Power Sweeping Association, 1-800-SWEEPER, Ohio Lawn Care Association, Professional Landcare Network, and Snow & Ice Management Association. George also is a Certified Surface Mine Foreman in Ohio and West Virginia.
